WEMS International supports ‘Made in Britain campaign
WEMS International is backing the manufacturing campaign: ‘Made in Britain’ (MiB).
We’re demonstrating our support by signing up to the campaign and displaying the MiB logo on all our marketing literature. We manufacture all our wireless building energy management systems in the UK.
The MiB initiative launched at the beginning of 2011 to help consumers buy British. It has already attracted the support of nearly 100 companies across the UK.
The MiB logo was designed by up-and-coming student designers, and made available online to download and use by British brands.
Ivan McKeever, director at WEMS International, said: “The ‘Made in Britain’ campaign recognises the exceptional quality that exists in the UK manufacturing industry. As a company committed to manufacturing all its products on home soil, we’re delighted to be putting our weight behind this initiative.”
WEMS’ backing of the MiB campaign follows our recent inclusion in the Government’s new initiative ‘Made by Britain*’. We are one of a select number of UK manufacturers to be included in the scheme after being nominated by local MP, Ann Coffey, as a great example of ‘British design and manufacturing ingenuity’.
