868MHz Wireless Comms
The 868MHz narrow band wireless module supports amplification capable of boosting the power output to 500mW (27dBm max) and provides up to 2-3 km line-of-sight communications between wireless devices.
Any MX cluster can have wired, wireless or a mix of both communication types. You can combine multiple wireless frequency
modules with RS-485 communication modules into a single cluster.
This flexibility allows the cluster to receive wirelessly and send out wired communications to the next cluster or vice-versa. Any cluster can support any combination of the modules listed here.

Integrate using BACnet®
Our MX modular I/O range can be integrated into your 3rd party BMS system via BACnet® IP using our BACnet® Gateway. Currently supported systems include Schneider Electric, Siemens, Trend and Niagara 4.

MX modules can be configured and distributed using wired comms via RS485, wireless using 434MHz, 915MHz or 868MHz for greater distances. Comms methods can be freely interchanged to create hybrid networks to suit your application.
Flexible modular design
MX moduels are snapped together, like Lego, to build the required I/O & comms required at each location, making MX I/O ideal for distributed systems and ensuring that no points are wasted.
Increase range using hopping
Comms from sensors or other clusters of I/O can be 'hopped' through a designated MX cluster to provide greater range. The hop could be wired or wireless. Signal can be hopped a max of two times.
